not my parents home, but their neighbor down below.
it is so crazy what is going on... my parents home did survive the fire and we are thankful for that but so sad for all those who lost their homes. my parents will be housing a family from their ward. i believe four families lost their homes from their ward. A family from their ward was in danger and after the father took his wife and children to safety he went back and quickly cut all the trees and shrubs away and then went in the middle of the street and got on his knees to pray. the fireman came and told him he had to leave and he said that he was not done praying, they waited for him to finish and then escorted him out...his home was saved.

My aunt and uncle and their house are fine too. Just some smoke and ash problems. You must have rushed out there to help, huh? You're such a good daughter. :)

I didn't hear that story, that is amazing. I'm sure we'll hear alot of those. Gosh, I am trying to hold back the tears from that. WOW!
