funny things she says

when i told her that mommy has a baby in her tummy she said

"you ate a baby?"

when she said her prayers the other night she prayed that heavenly father would bless her baby sister in her tummy and her baby brother in mommys tummy.

when i asked her when her baby sister is coming to stay with us she said

"my mouth is going to get really big and she will come out." ( she never told me when it was going to happen)

when i told her that i went to the doctor to listen to her baby brother she said

"he can talk?"

when i told her to look at mommys belly and watch her baby brother move she looked straight down my belly button and said

"i can't see him?"

she is a funny girl.

what is wrong with this picture?

jeff seems so much taller than me and we all know that is not the case. i crack up every time i see this picture. not to mention that alice refused to put anything in her hair or even smile. what a little stinker.

things i love right now

this was taken about a year and a half ago. she has got the moves, i love my little alice.




these are heaven sent. i always buy extra to keep all year round. believe it or not i still have some from last year.

thanks to danielle, alice was glammed out for halloween. she had so much fun with her cousins. thanks so much danielle.

trunk or treat

we had a good time at "trunk or treat". it was a bit odd to be able to have the chili cook off and all activities outside and not be cold at all. it was odd to eat hot chili on a warm evening. welcome to arizona...alice wanted to be snow white and we opted for a hippie couple (thanks to chad and adriana for the costumes). alice especially loved the "cake walk". when she discovered if you landed on the right number and got a cupcake she was there all night long, until we told her she could go from trunk to trunk and collect candy, then she was there...all night long. she is her mothers daughter.

the fires

not my parents home, but their neighbor down below.

it is so crazy what is going on... my parents home did survive the fire and we are thankful for that but so sad for all those who lost their homes. my parents will be housing a family from their ward. i believe four families lost their homes from their ward. A family from their ward was in danger and after the father took his wife and children to safety he went back and quickly cut all the trees and shrubs away and then went in the middle of the street and got on his knees to pray. the fireman came and told him he had to leave and he said that he was not done praying, they waited for him to finish and then escorted him out...his home was saved.
